Ah! Boca Santa is a unique place in Faial. The street food concept here is quite different. The food is amazing, especially the burgers and fries. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Nice place inside a small mall. The burgers are superb and cheap as well. We ate 2 burgers, fries, salad and had 2 drinks for only 26€. Personnel is very friendly and helpful as well.

Located in an indoor market for tourism is this gem, though we hear that they are moving to a store front near by. This is a woman owned lunch spot. We got the burger and fries. It was sooo yummy. We didn’t have cash on us, so after we ordered they told us where the atm was and didn’t fret that we didn’t pay right away. This is a great location to start your tour of the city

Located in what seems to be a market hall, so not visible from the street. The burgers were great and the assortment of beers was very good. Be advised: they only have a limited amount of burgers available. At some point they are sold out. And you eill only get drinks. So best to come close to the beginning of their opening times. Even then, there might be waiting times of up to 45 mins for the burgers. But they are worth the wait!

If there was a way to have a life time supply of their burgers, I would be the first in line. No joke, they were without a doubt, the most delicious, perfectly cooked, juicy, flavourful burgers I have every had in my life. And, I am actually slightly mad about it, because they have ruined every other burgers chance : since eating here, I now know what a good burger is. Came here twice with my partner in 2 days, and we were almost rolling on the floor with how masterful they were. Works of art. The chicken burger, pork burger and the beef burger were to die for. If you don't go here, you will regret it.

Best burgers on the island! The owner is super nice too. Went back several times during our stay. Don’t miss the Saturday brunch. The chocolate lava cake and the fries especially were delicious. Most days there’s a line and the wait is around 20-30 min since they’re always full. Get there early because they do sell out.
